Connect Bonnie Doon is an engagement process that will help shape the long-term future of the Bonnie Doon Shopping Centre site. It gives a voice to the area residents, tenants and citizens of Edmonton as we take steps to revitalize and refocus this community retail and commercial resource.
To keep pace with the tremendous growth of Edmonton and the ever-changing needs of its residents, Bonnie Doon Shopping Centre will evolve to strengthen and enhance retail commercial services, introducing residential uses and community amenities. The Valley Line LRT station at Bonnie Doon reinforces this evolution by establishing a major public transit corridor at its doorstep, connecting the downtown and surrounding communities to the Centre.

The Bonnie Doon Shopping Centre has been an important retail and commercial resource to the Bonnie Doon neighbourhood and surrounding community since 1958. The long-term evolution of Bonnie Doon will be rooted in a sustainable and integrated development focus that will see the creation of a vibrant urban district that is connected to improved public transit and will appeal to all ages.
The plan will provide the community with a broad range of shopping, entertainment and needed commercial services as well as a variety of housing option for singles, growing families and seniors.

Morguard is a fully integrated real estate advisory company established in 1976 to manage and invest in high quality real estate throughout North America, including the Bonnie Doon Shopping Centre. On behalf of institutional investors, Morguard has managed Bonnie Doon for more than 20 years and will oversee the approvals and redevelopment program.
The ownership group has a long-term investment horizon, which is supportive and compatible with a redevelopment program for Bonnie Doon to create a true transit-oriented, sustainable and healthy urban mixed use community.
Connect Bonnie Doon is a 12-month, four-phase process that will give the community a chance to contribute to the development of a comprehensive Master Plan for the site. A collaborative approach to site planning will help ensure a high quality development that meets the goals of all stakeholders and the expectations of the Bonnie Doon Community and the City of Edmonton.

The Inspiration Centre at the Bonnie Doon Shopping Centre will be open Thursdays through Saturdays during mall hours from October 11 to October 20, 2018.
The second open house will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at La Cité Francophone.
